Let's Move

Let's get physical! From the moment they are born, children are busy moving their bodies to see what they can do. And they can do a lot! Babies start by wiggling, grasping with their hands and "discovering" their toes.

They move on to manipulate small objects, and then as toddlers, progress to running, jumping and dancing. Physical activity is an area of play that sets the stage for healthy bodies throughout a child's life.

Active play concentrates on gross motor activity—big movements like walking, throwing or climbing. PLAYSKOOL toys help get your child off the couch and moving around and help develop fine motor coordination, like buttoning a shirt or building a block tower.
